What a fantastic year it has been for the Burwell Chamber of Commerce! Thanks to our incredible volunteers, engaged community, and a vibrant network of local businesses, 2026 was packed with energy, growth, and record-setting event turnouts across the board. 

We loved celebrating our favorite community traditions this year—from the annual Easter Egg Hunt to bringing holiday magic during Meet and Greet Santa & Reindeer! We also had a blast hosting our Sip and Shop and Summerfest for their second year—and we’re so thrilled to see how popular these new favorites have!

A Few Highlights from Our Fun-Filled Year:

Summerfest: A fantastic summer turnout featuring an incredible performance by the Nebraska Army National Guard Band!

Community Rallies & Big Events: We were proud to support Loup Basin’s Burwell Bash again, and we were right in the middle of the action for Rodeo Week—managing parking and trolley operations, and hosting a massive Rodeo Parade with over 70 entries!

Supporting Local Businesses: We helped connect local talent and employers with a Job Fair at Burwell High School, and we loved celebrating our town’s growth with open houses and ribbon cuttings all year long.
