DESCRIPTION:106th Nebraska’s Big Rodeo: July 28 – 31\, 2027 \nIn 1921\, citizens of Burwell\, Nebraska decided to put their community on the map with an annual community celebration. They chose to begin a rodeo\, which reflected the western heritage of the town. The first rodeo was held in September of 1921\, and since that time nearly every professional rodeo champion who has pulled on a pair of boots has tramped through the historic arena of Burwell. Almost a century later\, visitors from all over the world continue to migrate to the small community of Burwell\, Nebraska for a one-of-a-kind experience at Nebraska’s Big Rodeo. \n*Tickets must be purchased through Nebraska’s Big Rodeo website: Nebraska’s Big Rodeo Website

Free to enter and hosted by the Burwell Chamber of Commerce\, this long-running celebration invites creative floats\, riding entries\, tractors\, vintage cars\, and marching groups to join in the fun. Gather the whole family along the long parade route to catch candy\, grab promo items\, and cheer on the community-wide spectacle! \n\n\n How to Enter:\n\n\nIn Person: Pick up entry forms at the Burwell Chamber of Commerce Office – 404 Grand Ave\, Burwell\, NE 68823 \n\nReturn Forms: Drop off your parade entry form during business hours at our office or place it in the drop box in front of our office anytime.\n\nOnline: Link coming soon! Online registration closes Friday\, July 24 at 10 PM. \n\n\nDay Of: Sign up at the registration table at Burwell City Park. \n\n\n Please bring two copies of your parade entry form. If your entry description is lengthy\, print two copies of that as well. \n\nParade Day Details:\n\n\nLine-Up Begins: 8:00 AM at the east entrance of Riverside Park (7th/D Streets) \n\n\nJudging Deadline: All entries must report by 9:00 AM to the East Entry of Burwell City Park to be judged.(Entries arriving after 9:00 AM WILL NOT BE JUDGED!) \n\n\nParade Start: 10:00 AM sharp \n\n\n\nRodeo Parade Route 2026 Bring your creativity\, your community spirit\, and your best candy toss!
